At Prometheus, our architecture prioritizes raw performance and developer privacy. Therefore, we completely reject the use of invasive tracking technologies, marketing pixels, or third-party analytics cookies.

1. "Strictly Necessary" Storage Protocols

We do not use traditional HTTP Cookies. Instead, we utilize your browser's LocalStorage and SessionStorage APIs exclusively for Strictly Necessary technical operations. Under the GDPR and ePrivacy Directive, explicit consent (annoying pop-up banners) is not required for these operations, as the platform cannot function securely without them.

2. What We Store Locally

  • Cryptographic JWTs (JSON Web Tokens): Used to maintain your active secure session with the API.
  • Rate Limiting States: Timestamps utilized by our Exponential Backoff algorithms to protect our servers from spam and DDoS attacks during authentication flows.
  • UI State Matrices: Ephemeral UI preferences (like the active tab or modal states) to ensure a smooth Single Page Application (SPA) experience.

3. Third-Party Exemptions

We do not integrate Google Analytics, Meta Pixels, or any external tracking networks. The only external platform that may utilize strictly necessary cookies during your interaction with us is our payment processor, Lemon Squeezy, solely to facilitate secure checkout processes and fraud prevention.
